The use of the IP King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table is open to the public domain and protected under fair use.
— Concept —
Take a Public Domain book and redesign the cover and dust jacket using our best judgment.
— Planning —
King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table would be our subject.
Taking Inspiration from what was used in previous designs, we chose to go down a seperate route.
We took heavy inspiration from the Middle Earth Quest book, “A Spy in Isengard” for our cover.
Choosing to focus on Merlin and The Lady in the Lake, we designed our their major contributions.

Our original attempt was finished in 2023-03-16 titled “King Arthur”
We know we can do better, so we took our mistakes and fixed them.

Back to the drawing board we found what went wrong with the original design.

Create a Stronger Layout and Assests.
— Final —
We were better able to capture the intended tone of the cover and back cover. Keeping a dark yet regal design one might look for in a collectors edition of the book.
With a better understanding of our concept, we were able to improve the color, develop better assests, and place in a better layout.
